Total Elegance

Acrylic paint on 12×16 canvas panel

In this piece, my composition speaks to character expressed in a lady dressed in elegance with a mysterious gaze somewhat like the smile of the Mona Lisa, not telling all as she observes her surroundings. Dressing elegantly or trending the latest styles is wonderful and may attract admiring attention. But to be totally elegant, there must be something said about character. Character speaks to integrity and reputation. It’s that substance found within, showing strength because of knowledge. It is the essence of who you really are; your passions and desires to do good. It is the power to receive respect from others.

                                                           “Total  Elegance”

Enticed by the attire

But captured in a gaze,

A Gaze of mystery

Through eyes that

Explore, revealing wisdom,

Reflecting truth.

She is the mystery—

Self- assured,

Confident in who she is,

With her character intact.

Total  Elegance.
